Vashti shows you how to fit the Bubblebubs Pebbles on a little baby. The Bubblebubs Pebbles is an all-in-one newborn nappy that will fit from around about 2 kilos through to about 5 1/2 kilos.

Vashti: Hi, it’s Vashti from Nest Nappies here and today I’m here with baby Matisse who is one month old and 3.35 kilos. Wanted to pop in and quickly show you how to fit the Bubblebubs Pebbles on a little bobby. The Bubblebubs Pebbles is an all-in-one newborn nappy that will fit from around about 2 kilos through to about 5 1/2 kilos. Being an all-in-one, it’s just one piece. There’s nothing to get lost or confused. It’s about the closest you’ll get to a disposal, with the only difference being that you wash it. You have your waterproof shell on the outside and then you have all your absorbency stitched into the interior of the nappy. This particular one does up with Velcro. You can get some nappies that do up with snaps instead. The tongue of this nappy folds out and that makes it faster drying. All you have to do is just fold the tongue back in like that. But, as you can imagine, if you had all those layers stitched in, it would take a long time to dry.
We’re going to pop this on baby Matisse. We’re just going to pop it under her bottom like that. I like to make sure that the nappy sits around about in line with the belly button and always give the back just a little of a quick pull out, just to make it nice and soft. I’m going to grab the top of the elastic at the front of the nappy and bring it up and around her thighs, just to bring it in between the groyne. And then, we’re going to … which way are we going? We’re going this way. Just going to bring those wings up and over and Velcro it on. As you can see, we’ve got a nice fit there. You’ve got a nice fit around those scrawny chicken legs. Nice and tight and snug. We’ll lift you up. There you go. Oh yes, you’re being so good. As you can see, it’s nice and snug around the back there. I can slide my finger in and I can feel the elastic pulling back against my finger but there’re no gapes or anything, so no chance of any poos escaping out of this nappy anytime soon.
