Training pants are that wonderful step between cough nappies and real undies for when your little one is growing up.

             Hi. It’s Vashti from Nest Nappies and today, I’m here to talk to you about training pants. Training pants are that wonderful step between cough nappies and real undies for when your little one is growing up. Training pants are designed to hold a small wee or stop puddles. They’re not designed to hold a full bladder, so if your little one isn’t quite ready to start toilet training just yet, training pants might not be the way to go. 

                    But, if your bubba is showing signs of wanting to use the toilet, is starting to hold on, or letting you know when they have got a wet nappy, it might be time to start toilet training. 

                    Most of your toilet training pants are designed to be pulled up and down nice and easy so your little one can go to the toilet on their own. They generally have a small amount of waterproofing through the wet zone, and then a small amount of absorbency through the wet zone as well. So that will hold in those small wees. 

                    As I said, they’re really only designed to stop puddles, not to hold a full bladder. So that’s our toilet training pants.
