Baby Bare are the home of one of Australia’s favourite Cloth Nappies! Their premium cloth nappies are the best value on the market. Beginning in 2011, their aim was to supply a great quality nappy for parents who were price conscious (just like them)!
Baby Bare are a small family business (owned and run by Jenny) and all of their products are designed right here in Australia. Sadly in 2017, Jenny’s husband Dave (the other half of Baby Bare) passed away from Melanoma at only 33. This left her with 3 children under 6, the youngest only 7 months old. She now runs Baby Bare for her three daughters who love to help choose the prints and model the products.
Jenny loves designing new products and constantly putting new life into her little business. She is passionate about helping other parents save money, contribute positively to our environment and succeed with using cloth nappies.
Baby Bare are also really passionate about raising awareness for Melanoma so if you are reading this, we encourage you to get a regular skin check and take care in the Sun – it could save your life! This passion has fuelled their newest range ‘BARE KIDS’ that is a clothing range focused on sun safety, style and comfort.
Why Choose Baby Bare Nappies?
Baby Bare nappies have been designed in Australia for Australian families. They are designed to be easy to use and care for, incredibly performant and – best of all – great value for money. The range of fabrics are printed especially for them, so your baby won’t look better in anything else. It truly is wearable art!
These gorgeous cloth nappies are professionally made in China from top quality materials. Baby Bare have sourced an ethical, small, family run factory to ensure their nappies are made with love, and that the people who make them are treated as they should be.
The absorbent nappy inserts are made from 450GSM bamboo. Their success and excellent reputation has been the result of our high quality standards in the manufacturing of our products.
All of the products come with a 6 month warranty and a lifetime of support, so we know you will be very happy with your purchase.
Baby Bare’s Business Ethics
As a small business they like to support other businesses with similar values. The Baby Bare warehouse functions with solar water and panels making them an environmentally friendly workplace.
They have worked with their suppliers to reduce packaging on their products ensuring they are not wrapped in single use packaging. All protective packaging can be recycled and they give away any boxes from their warehouse to local families moving house to ensure extra life before being recycled!
Giving Back
Baby Bare’s charity of choice is ‘Melanoma Institute Australia’. Jenny’s husband, Dave, lost his life to Melanoma at 33. Felicity (Jenny’s right hand lady who works at Baby Bare running customer service, social media and helping to pack the orders!) had her first Melanoma at 16, with surgery saving her life. She’s since had countless Melanoma’s removed. Together they want to see a future where Melanoma is not one of the top killers in Australia. A future where the next generation of children need not fear this awful aggressive and sneaky cancer. For that reason Baby Bare donate proceeds from their clothing range, and regular fundraisers to further research through Melanoma Institute Australia.
